SCRIPTURAL READING : 1 Cor 1:19-29; 2: 9-14: Col 2:8: Rom 1:18- 28: Prov 2: 1-13:
Salutations beloved brethren in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Listen! Ideologies are in ! Be ware! They are not built on the merits of our faith ! No, Sir! Remember, we have only one Lord , one faith , and one baptism ( Eph 4: 5). See? And we are supposed to contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints! ( Jude 3). See?
And we couldn't have managed to do that, until God graciously sent us Elijah the prophet with a message to turn the hearts of the children back to the faith of our Apostolic fathers ( Mal 4:5,6). See?
Indeed, we are firm that the vessel that God chose to fulfil that Bible prophesy in our time, at the end of the gentile dispensation, is none other than William Marrion Branham. He is the one prophet , with the anointing of the Spirit of Elijah upon him, sent by God with the message of restoration to the elect of God in the closing age of Laodicea ( Rev 3: 14-22). See? It is a spiritual revelation to the elect of God!( Matt 16:18: Lk 24:45: Deut 29:29: Rev 3: 22). ). Right!
Nevertheless, the enemy has crept in as a spoiler, and he is passing through loose minds to establish ideologies that are contrary to the truth of the gospel. ( Jn 17:17; 8:32). My dear brother and sister, The Spirit of God is watching what is going on. He is searching the hearts of men. ( Jer 17:10). You can not hide from God anything that is contrary to the word of God!( Heb 4:12). The word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart! See?
DEFINITION : IDEOLOGY:
According to online sources, an ideology is simply a set of ideas, beliefs, values as well as attitudes. These can be held by an individual or a group of individuals. It is believed that an ideology can be consciously or unconsciously held. Ideologies tend to shape understandings or misconceptions in many aspects of human life. It includes areas like politics, social or economic life, and, of course, in the religious world.
The following are some examples of different ideologies found in the world today; liberalism, conservatism, socialism, communism, pan-africanism, democracy, totalitarianism, capitalism, women liberalism, immorality and sexual perversion exemplified by the acronym, LGBTQ( simply Gays and homosexuals).
With that in mind, we need to be aware that Satan, our enemy, is moving like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour ( 1 Pet 5:8). He knows the message of the hour is the truth. So he has to find a way to come in pretence, transforming himself as an angel of light( 2 Cor 11:14). See? How does he do this?
BELIEVERS WITH LOOSE MINDS:
Satan will target someone in the church assembly whose mind is easily persuaded to believe him! Satan's approach is eventually to change the mindset of the person about certain things that are being taught in the church by the Holyspirit through the 5-Fold Ministry ( Eph 4:11-16). See? His mission is to change the values, beliefs, and attitude of that particular individual, so long as he is not watchful in prayer ( 1 Pet 5:8; 4: 7). See?
Notice! Satan targets these fellows who simply come to sleep in church while the sermons are being preached! He will eventually steal away even the little word of God that was sown in their hearts ( Lk 8:12, 18). See?
Brother and sister, it is dangerous for you to come to the house of God when you are not prepared to hear the voice of God! Remember, you will not go back home empty-handed! Satan will replace the seed word in your heart with his perverted wisdom and lies! He is a great deceiver!( Rev 12:9: 2 Cor 4:4). Right!
Slowly and surely, if you are not careful, he is building his own ideology in your life, and very soon you will open your mouth, in opposition to some things that are going on in the church or in the faith or in the ministry! See? His intentions are to build strongholds of reasonings in your life, against the knowledge of God ( 2 Cor 10:4,5). See?
PLAYING A BAD SONG WITH A NICE TUNE:
Before you know it, you are prepared to play your song. The song will be pasted with words of worldly wisdom or philosophy ( Jam 3:13-17). Obviously, it is a very bad song. A song in scripture denotes a message. See? This you begin to do by murmuring and complaining about what you think is not right! You start reaching out to others, beginning with those close to you, then to close friends and some elders and in so doing, your bad song is gaining influence among the rest of the believers in the church or in the faith! Someone is being influenced quietly! See? Soon, there is a following that is moving in opposite direction to the rest of the body of Christ!
So, my dear brother, which song are you singing ? Are you singing, the Psalms of David, the song of Deborah, Judge 5, or of Hannah ( 1 Sam 2), or song of Zechariah ( Lk 1:68), or song of the redeemed ( Rev 5:9) or song of the glorified saints ( Rev 19). See? Remember, one can also sing a good song but in the wrong way! So, it pays to be careful and wait on God ( Isa 40:31). See?
It is unfortunate to see Christians who get themselves to indulge in murmuring and complaining and disputings ( Phi 2:15). Why not seek to be helped out of your dilemma? Remember, the Bible teaches that, the wisdom that is from above, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy ( Jam 3:17). See?
WATERS OF SEPARATION:
My dear brethren, ideologies are in! If you check it, you will find that what is mostly troubling many believers of the Endtime Message are the various ideologies that they have allowed to enter into their midst. Various churches, ministers, are grappling with them. They have become such a hindrance to our cherished love, unity, and collaboration of brethren of like precious faith ( 2 Pet 1:1). See?
I tell you, it will take God to help us to raise vessels that are sanctified by the waters of separation to keep the thing straight! ( Eph 5:26,27: 2Tim 2:21). See?
Our common salvation and cherished faith that was once delivered to the saints is under serious attack by ideologies of lies, philosophy, and intellectual misconceptions of the Message of the hour! ( Col 2:8). See?
May God help us to remain firm and keep Contending for the faith that was once delivered to the saints! By the power of spiritual revelation and spiritual discernment, the false ideologies that have been injected in the minds of many believers of the Message will invariably be exposed! ( 1 Cor 2:9-14). See? Also, Jesus said, "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free!" ( Jn 8:32). Exactly!
A special advise to fellow Pastors and ministers is that, you need to be careful that, next time, you will want to make a U - Turn on your ideology , watch out trouble is knocking at your doorstep! Your church will break in pieces! To be continued.
